OCs of Sadar and Siddhirganj police stations withdrawn
Two officers-in-charge (OC) of Narayanganj Sadar Model Police Station and Siddhirganj Police Station have been withdrawn. On Sunday (April 5), District Superintendent of Police Mohammad Mizanur Rahman Munshi withdrew them from the police station and attached them to the police lines in an order.
Additional Superintendent of Police (Crime) Tarek Al Mehedi confirmed the matter.
Mohammad Abdul Halim and Mohammad Abdul Barik were serving as officers-in-charge of Sadar Model Police Station and Siddhirganj Police Station, respectively. After their withdrawal, they were attached to the police lines.
However, Additional Superintendent of Police Tarek Al Mehedi could not give the specific reason for their withdrawal from the police station.
“The order for this withdrawal has been made on the decision of the higher authorities,” he said.
